Let's face it, when we are feeling lethargic or sick, we just really are not happy and it's hard to do our daily chores. When we take care of our health, we look forward to every day and we enjoy taking care of our family and building our business; when we are sick or lethargic to don't. So, the key is to make ourselves a priority and make sure we do the little things that will keep us fit and healthy so we can be healthy.
As the years go by, I've learned that getting up and exercising first thing in the morning with an effective at-home fitness routine set the tone for the day. I love waking up and working out to the routine I started 3 weeks ago called Body Gospel since it brings together both worship and fitness at the same time. The music is amazing and the routine and energy is awesome! I've never seen a Christian workout routine quite like that before. So, exercising first thing in the morning is one of the things I do to stay healthy and fit; it energizes me for the day.
Another thing I do to stay healthy is prepare and eat healthy meals and snacks for myself and my family. I know that I can't get all the nutrients from the foods I eat, but I do my best to eat lots of raw foods that are filled with nutrients, instead of processed foods that are void of nutrition. In addition, I take whole food supplements that are enhance with therapeutic-grade oils so that I can make sure and get all the nutrition my body needs. Nutrition works TOGETHER with exercise to keep us fit and healthy.
The third component of my health regimen is making sure the products my whole family uses are non-toxic and will nurture us. I make sure the shampoos, deodorants, facial products, cleansing bars, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc, are not only non-toxic but are enhanced with essential oils so that these will be incredible effective and give me the results I want. I also make sure the the products I clean my house and my clothes with are completely non-toxic.
And lastly, I make sure I get enough sleep at night. Sleep is an important component that few people realize is important until they are completely sleep deprived and feel very lethargic. When we get enough rest, our body can replenish and repair itself for the next day.
Daily exercise, enough nutrition, non-toxic products and enough sleep at night keep us healthy and happy. Make sure you take care of yourself every day so that you may be more energetic, strong and productive for the family that depends on you every day.
